Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a parent will ever make and we are grateful that you believe St. Francis Xavier’s academic program and spiritual formation will prepare your child for high school and beyond. At most independent schools, tuition covers most of the basic costs of educating students. However, there is a gap between the actual cost and what parents pay. If schools charged the full amount needed to educate each student, most families would not be able to afford it. At St. Francis Xavier, our fundraising opportunities close that gap:

Giving Spree
The Giving Spree is Adams County’s day of giving, in November, where everyone in the community is encouraged to come together to learn about and support local nonprofits.
Our school raised $47k in the 2022 Giving Spree! We are looking forward to another successful Giving Spree this year!

Community Golf Tournament
Members of our School & Parish community, and their guests, are invited to participate in the Annual SFX Community Golf Tournament at Quail Valley Golf Course in Littlestown! Golfers and volunteers will enjoy a round of golf, awards, and a community dinner following the tournament.

Father Hilbert Cup Golf Tournament
In honor of a former Pastor, each Spring we host a Golf Open to raise money for our school. Over the history of the tournament, we have raised over $188,000 for our school.

Tax Credit Programs
The Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program and the Special Purpose Entity (SPE) program for individuals and businesses allows taxpayers to direct money to support Catholic education.
Businesses are permitted to restrict tax credit monies to the school of their choice and funds are distributed to that school as tuition assistance.
